Visit WebElements and access information on the physical properties, compounds, history, uses, extraction, and biology of all elements by selecting the appropriate symbol on the periodic table. The site even has a version specially designed for hand-held computers.

Click on the periodic table at Phoenix College and obtain information on the physical properties of elements. This information is often accompanied by pictures of the elements themselves.

Examine the first 18 elements in some detail. This site will prove particularly useful if you are discussing the atomic structure and how it relates to the properties of elements.
